Amagi has announced a strategic partnership with ADAMS to accelerate the adoption of FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) channels and drive digital transformation across the Latin American media ecosystem.
According to an Amagi release, the agreement formalises ADAMS as a strategic reseller partner for Amagi’s full suite of cloud-based broadcast and ad-tech solutions, aimed at helping television networks, sports leagues and content owners in the region transition to modern, streaming-first distribution models.
The collaboration comes at a time when audience consumption is rapidly shifting towards connected TV and streaming platforms, pushing media companies in Latin America to rethink infrastructure, reduce capital expenditure, and unlock new monetisation avenues. Through this partnership, ADAMS will take Amagi’s core products to market, including CLOUDPORT for cloud playout and automation, PLANNER for content scheduling, and THUNDERSTORM for server-side ad insertion.
A key element of the partnership lies in the complementary strengths of both companies. While Amagi brings a scalable, cloud-based technology backbone, ADAMS contributes strong regional expertise and operational capabilities. As part of Ole Communications, which has played a role in building networks such as HBO Latin America and A+E Networks Latin America, ADAMS is positioned to manage critical backend processes including content ingestion, library curation, quality control, and streaming operations.
