Hiimaanshu Shindde has taken on a new role as Vice President and Head of Streaming Business at Zee Music Company, marking a significant addition to the company’s leadership as it continues to strengthen its digital and streaming strategy.
The announcement was shared by Shindde himself, where he expressed enthusiasm about stepping into the role and contributing to the evolving music streaming ecosystem. He noted that he looks forward to building, scaling, and innovating in the space, while also reflecting on the experiences that have shaped his career so far.
With over two decades of experience across music, radio, and digital platforms, Shindde brings a well-rounded understanding of the industry. Before joining Zee Music Company, he served as Business Head at Beatchain, where he led key business and partnership initiatives for India operations.
His work involved managing relationships with streaming platforms, record labels, and talent networks, particularly for the MuzartDisco distribution platform.
He also held the role of Head of Product at MuzartDisco, where he was instrumental in developing and launching a music distribution platform designed for independent artists, labels, and film producers.
Earlier in his career, Shindde worked with Radio City India as AVP – Special Projects & New Media, where he led initiatives including the launch of RC SWAPPR, a global podcast distribution platform. His professional journey also includes roles in consulting, digital content services at Idea Cellular, and extensive work in music partnerships, licensing, and content strategy across regional and national platforms.
