Amazon MX Player has launched its new fitness-led unscripted series ‘Famously Fit’, bringing together celebrity workouts, candid conversations and brand integrations in a high-energy format. The first episode of the six-part weekly series premiered on March 27, with new episodes scheduled to drop every Friday.
According to an Amazon MX Player press release, the show is positioned as a fitness-first content experience that blends entertainment with wellness, while also integrating leading brands such as Oziva, Ather, American Pistachio and Envy into the narrative.
Hosted by Sophie Choudry, the series features celebrities stepping into a workout setting while sharing personal insights into their fitness journeys. The show opens with Kriti Sanon, followed by appearances from Malaika Arora and Sonam Bajwa, with entrepreneur Ghazal Alagh also part of the initial lineup. Additional names are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Each episode explores a mix of fitness routines, including yoga, strength training and functional workouts, while offering a closer look at the discipline, habits and philosophies that shape these public figures. Alongside structured workouts, the show also captures candid moments, addressing common fitness myths and revealing relatable aspects such as indulgences and shortcuts.
Gulshan Verma, Director at Amazon Ads, said the show is designed to present a more authentic side of fitness by combining celebrity routines with everyday discipline. He noted that the unscripted format helps create a relatable viewing experience, while also allowing brands to integrate naturally into content that audiences connect with.
Mittal Patel of Oziva highlighted that the association aligns with the brand’s belief in holistic wellness, extending beyond physical fitness to overall health and nutrition. She added that the collaboration offers an opportunity to engage with a wider audience through meaningful and relatable content.
Produced by Amazon MX Player with execution by Tamgha Entertainment, ‘Famously Fit’ is available to stream for free across multiple platforms, including mobile devices, connected TVs, Prime Video, Fire TV, JioTV and Airtel Xstream. With its mix of celebrity appeal, fitness storytelling and brand collaboration, the series reflects the growing trend of content that blends lifestyle engagement with entertainment.
