News18 Marathi is set to present Mukta Sanman 2026, an initiative dedicated to honouring women who have carved inspiring journeys through determination, resilience and hard work across Maharashtra. The awards continue to recognise individuals who embody strength, self-belief and the spirit of empowerment in their respective fields.
According to a press release issued by News18, the initiative highlights stories of women who are driving meaningful change in society, bringing their contributions into the spotlight through a platform that celebrates perseverance and impact.
The event witnessed the presence of several prominent personalities, including actors Varsha Usgaonkar, Pushkar Shrotri, Umesh Kamat and Shreya Bugade, adding to the significance of the evening. The initiative also drew recognition from public leaders such as Rahul Narwekar and Madhuri Misal, reflecting the broader importance of acknowledging women’s contributions to society.
This year’s awardees include Mitali Sethi, Komal Gaikwad, Poonam Patil, Deepali Khobragade, Minakshi Nikam, Papita Malve, Kiran Gedam, Venu Randive, Reena Nat, Seema Mandvi, Parvati Phunde and Mangal Avale, each recognised for their exceptional commitment and achievements in their respective journeys.
Adding further distinction to the ceremony, the Lifetime Achievement Awards were conferred upon veteran actress Usha Nadkarni and entrepreneur Kalpana Saroj, both of whom have built legacies defined by resilience and inspiration, paving the way for future generations.
The special broadcast of the awards will air on March 28 on News18 Marathi, offering viewers a chance to witness stories that celebrate courage, determination and the extraordinary potential of women shaping society today.
