Mauro Ramalho, Chief Creative Officer at Publicis Brazil, has been appointed Jury Chair for the CREATIVE COMMERCE, USE OF DATA, B2B category at the ABBY Awards 2026 Powered by The One Club for Creativity | The One Show.
Announced on March 18 in Mumbai, the appointment brings on board a seasoned global creative leader with over 25 years of experience across national and international advertising. Ramalho has worked across three countries and led creative mandates for some of the world’s leading agencies and brands.
Currently heading Publicis Brazil, Ramalho previously served as VP and Executive Creative Director at R/GA São Paulo, where he played a key role in integrating the São Paulo office with global teams across New York, London, Portland and California. During this period, he worked on major clients including Verizon, Google, Meta, Samsung, American Express, Heineken and Ally Financial.
Earlier in his career, Ramalho spent over a decade building CUBOCC into one of Brazil’s most innovative agencies, which later became part of Interpublic Group. He also led creative teams at FCB, focusing on integrated campaigns bridging online and offline platforms.
His international experience includes a stint at AKQA in San Francisco, where he worked with brands such as McDonald’s, FOX, Target, Kraft Foods, Nike and GAP. Notably, he contributed to “The Lost Ring” campaign for McDonald’s, one of the earliest alternate reality campaigns that went on to receive widespread recognition.
Ramalho has also worked at Organic in Toronto, collaborating across Detroit and Toronto offices for clients like Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler. Additionally, he played a role in strengthening creative excellence at AgenciaClick, one of Brazil’s largest digital agencies.
Over the years, he has won several prestigious awards including Clios, Effies, TikTok Awards and MMA Smarties, and has served on juries for global platforms such as the Andys, TikTok Awards and Lisbon Awards.
