JioStar has appointed Pranav Kunkalienkar as Associate Director – Corporate Communications. He shared the update through a LinkedIn post earlier this week and the move brings him back into the broadcast and sports media ecosystem.

Before joining JioStar, Kunkalienkar was serving as Manager – Corporate Communications and PR at Rajasthan Royals, where he handled communications strategy and media relations for the IPL franchise.

Earlier, he spent over three years at Disney Star as Assistant Manager – Corporate Communications in the sports division. During his tenure there, he worked closely on communications for sports broadcasting properties and helped manage media engagement around major sporting events and network initiatives.

His earlier professional stints include roles at KOOH Sports Private Limited, Rendezvous Sports World Pvt Ltd and Universal Hunt, where he contributed to initiatives spanning sports marketing, business strategy and talent solutions.
