Social media platform Instagram is rolling out a new feature for engaging its creators to make the most of their opportunities by providing new insights data for both Reels and Instagram Live.
The new feature will help the creators and businesses to better understand and evaluate their performance on Instagram by providing them the essential data.
These tools will help Instagram Reels catch up with its competitors such as Tiktok, which already offers detailed analytics to its users.
As the feature will be only allowed to the creators who can view publicly available metrics, like views, likes, or comments on a Reel.
Even with the new updates, the platform will help the creators to judge the performance of their content by using the new tools which include the metrics including the: Plays, Accounts Reached, Likes, Comments, Saves, and Shares for Reels.
It also launches the metrics such as Accounts Reached, Peak Concurrent Viewers, Comments, and shares for Instagram Live. It also provided detailed information about the Reach in Account Insights.
Instagram has also confirmed that it will soon begin supporting Insights on Desktop and some new features in the coming months.
