Aamir Khan Productions, known for backing some of Indian cinema’s most memorable and emotionally resonant stories, has unveiled the first look of its upcoming film ‘Ek Din’, a tender love story starring Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan. The film marks Sai Pallavi’s much-anticipated Bollywood debut and promises an intimate, heartfelt romance rooted in simplicity and emotion.
The first-look poster introduces the fresh on-screen pairing against a serene winter backdrop. Sai and Junaid are seen walking together down a quiet street, radiating warmth and understated charm. Their natural chemistry sets the tone for what appears to be an innocent love story, captured through subtle expressions rather than spectacle. The poster carries the evocative tagline, “One Love… One Chance,” further hinting at the emotional core of the narrative. Adding to the anticipation, the makers have confirmed that the teaser of Ek Din will be released tomorrow.
Junaid, who impressed audiences with his performance in ‘Maharaj’, takes a turn towards a softer, more romantic space with ‘Ek Din’. The film positions him in a heartfelt love story, allowing him to explore a different emotional register and strengthening expectations around his growing body of work.
Sharing the screen with him is Sai, one of the most celebrated actors in South Indian cinema. Known for her powerful performances across Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films, she enjoys a devoted fan following nationwide. Her Bollywood debut with ‘Ek Din’ has been keenly awaited, and the first look has already generated considerable excitement among audiences eager to see her bring her distinctive screen presence to Hindi cinema.
Produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, ‘Ek Din’ is directed by Sunil Pandey and produced by Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit. The film is written by Sneha Desai and Spandan Mishra, with music composed by Ram Sampath and lyrics by Irshad Kamil. It is slated for a theatrical release on May 1.
