Telugu ZEE5 celebrates Sankranti with Manchu Manoj-led festive brand film

Telugu ZEE5 has unveiled a special Sankranti brand film featuring Manchu Manoj, reinforcing the platform’s commitment to delivering culturally rooted entertainment for Telugu audiences. Built around the line ‘Mana Pandaga, Mana Entertainment, Mana Telugu ZEE5’, the campaign taps into the festive spirit of Sankranti while underlining the platform’s deep emotional and cultural connect with the region.

The brand film is set in a traditional village manduva house during Sankranti and captures the warmth, humour and togetherness that define the festival. The narrative follows Manoj’s journey as he travels back to his village, leading to a lively homecoming filled with playful exchanges, family banter and heartfelt moments. The story culminates in a vibrant celebration, positioning Telugu ZEE5 as a trusted entertainment companion for festive and year-round viewing.

Directed by Sai Marthand with cinematography by Suriya Balaji, the film blends festive nostalgia with contemporary storytelling. Through its narrative, the campaign also reflects Telugu ZEE5’s diverse content offering, which spans family dramas, thrillers and mass entertainers. The platform has already connected with audiences through popular titles such as ‘Beauty’, ‘Nayanam’, ‘Bhairavam’, ‘Sankrantiki Vasthunam’, ‘Kishkindapuri’ and ‘Hanuman’.

Looking ahead, Telugu ZEE5 has lined up a strong slate of upcoming releases, including films starring Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara’s ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’, as well as Ravi Teja-led projects ‘Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi’ and ‘Gurram Papireddy’. The lineup signals a steady flow of high-impact content aimed at catering to a wide spectrum of viewer preferences.

Commenting on the campaign, Anuradha Gudur, Business Head – Telugu ZEE5, said the platform remains focused on offering entertainment that mirrors the tastes of Telugu audiences, ranging from festive family stories to big-ticket star-driven films. She added that the Sankranti campaign reflects Telugu ZEE5’s core promise of culturally rooted stories and mass entertainment that families can enjoy together.

Manchu Manoj said the film brought back memories of fun, light-hearted roles and captured the true essence of Sankranti, which is rooted in family, laughter and togetherness. He added that being part of a campaign celebrating family emotions made the experience especially meaningful.

With its festive storytelling, robust content pipeline and strong regional focus, Telugu ZEE5 continues to strengthen its position as a platform that celebrates Telugu entertainment, making this Sankranti a more engaging and memorable experience for its viewers.
