GTPL Hathway Limited, India’s largest digital cable TV service provider and a leading broadband player, has reported steady financial performance for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, with Profit Before Tax (PBT) rising 14 per cent year-on-year in Q3 FY26. The company announced its results on January 12, reflecting resilience in a competitive market and sustained subscriber traction across its core businesses.
According to a press release issued by the company, GTPL Hathway’s total consolidated revenue for Q3 FY26 stood at Rs.9,382 million, marking a year-on-year growth of 5 per cent. EBITDA for the quarter came in at Rs.1,189 million, with an EBITDA margin of 12.7 per cent and an operating EBITDA margin of 23.9 per cent. Profit after tax for the quarter rose to Rs.111 million, compared to Rs.102 million in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company’s digital cable TV business continued to maintain scale, with active subscribers standing at 9.40 million as of December 31, 2025, while paying subscribers were at 8.70 million. Subscription revenue from cable TV stood at Rs.2,970 million during the quarter. On the broadband side, subscriber additions remained healthy, with the base increasing by 18,000 year-on-year to reach 1.06 million subscribers. Broadband revenue grew 4 per cent year-on-year to Rs.1,433 million, supported by an average revenue per user of Rs.465 per month.
GTPL Hathway also highlighted improving usage trends, with average data consumption per broadband user rising 12 per cent year-on-year to 410 GB per month. The company’s broadband home-pass stood at 5.95 million as of December-end, with around 75 per cent of this footprint available for potential FTTX conversion, underscoring future growth headroom.
A key operational milestone during the quarter was the launch of GTPL Infinity, the company’s HITS platform. The satellite-based platform, supported by one of the world’s largest C-band teleport facilities in Ahmedabad, is designed to deliver scalable, cost-efficient and high-quality television signal distribution nationwide, enabling partners to go live within 24 hours.
Commenting on the performance, Anirudhsinh Jadeja, Managing Director, GTPL Hathway Limited, said the company has broadly sustained its active subscriber base across both cable TV and broadband, reflecting the strength of its operating model and customer trust. He added that GTPL is steadily evolving beyond traditional services by integrating value-added offerings such as OTT, gaming and TV Everywhere, either as standalone products or bundled formats, to align with changing content consumption patterns.
Jadeja said the launch of the GTPL Infinity HITS platform marks a significant step in the company’s growth journey, enabling seamless nationwide delivery of nearly 800 channels while optimising costs and unlocking incremental opportunities for partners.
GTPL Hathway operates across more than 1,500 towns in 26 states and four union territories, with a vast ecosystem of business partners, broadcasters and enterprise clients, and continues to focus on disciplined growth and service expansion in the digital cable and broadband segments.
