The Yonex-Sunrise India Open 2026 will be broadcast live on Eurosport following a partnership between the Badminton Association of India (BAI) and the global sports network, bringing television coverage of one of India’s premier badminton tournaments to fans across the country.

According to an Instagram post shared by the organisers, the collaboration will ensure comprehensive live coverage of the Super 750 event, scheduled to be held from January 13 to 18 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. The 24th edition of the tournament will feature leading international shuttlers alongside top Indian players, as the India Open continues to strengthen its presence on the BWF World Tour with a move to a larger venue and rising fan engagement.

Under the partnership, Eurosport will deliver live action from the Centre Court as well as matches from other courts throughout the six-day competition. In addition to live matches, viewers can expect supplementary programming such as highlights, player interviews and curated content, which will be aired on Eurosport and Eurosport HD during the course of the tournament.

Commenting on the association, Sanjay Mishra, General Secretary of the Badminton Association of India, said the tournament has grown steadily over the years, both in terms of competition and audience interest. He noted that partnering with Eurosport will help take the event to a wider television audience and allow fans across the country to follow the action closely, reflecting the growing appetite for badminton in India and BAI’s commitment to making the sport more accessible.

Eurosport, which has a presence across Europe, Asia and other markets, brings with it extensive experience in broadcasting international sporting events. Its association with the India Open is expected to further enhance the tournament’s visibility across broadcast territories, leveraging the network’s infrastructure and audience reach to present the event as a key fixture on the BWF World Tour.

A regular feature on the BWF calendar, the Yonex-Sunrise India Open holds Super 750 status, offering players up to 11,000 ranking points and a total prize pool of USD 950,000. The 2026 edition is set to continue the tournament’s established format both on and off the court. Tickets for the event are now available online, starting at INR 400, with phased offers planned across the booking period.
