Haryanvi singer, performer and Bigg Boss 11 fame Sapna Choudhary has been announced as the brand ambassador of JD Noida Ninjas, a franchise of the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL), ahead of the league’s second season. The association comes as the team looks to strengthen its connect with fans and build a stronger identity within the growing kabaddi ecosystem.
According to a press release, Sapna Choudhary’s association is expected to add visibility and cultural resonance to the team. Widely recognised across North India, Sapna has built a strong presence in music, television and digital entertainment over the years. Her national recognition expanded significantly after her stint on Bigg Boss Season 11, helping her develop a diverse and loyal fan base beyond regional markets.
Speaking on the development, Sambhav Jain, Founder and Director of SJ Uplift Kabaddi, said the Noida Ninjas are steadily carving out their own space within UPKL. He noted that as the league evolves, franchises need to create deeper connections with fans, and Sapna Choudhary’s presence brings that emotional and cultural connect to the team’s journey.
Sapna Choudhary said she is excited to support the JD Noida Ninjas in the upcoming season, which will be held in Noida from December 24. She added that she looks forward to fans extending the same love and encouragement to the team that she has received throughout her career.
The JD Noida Ninjas squad for Season 2 features a blend of experienced players and emerging talent.
