DD Bangla has invited fresh programme proposals from experienced and reputed producers, rights owners, aggregators and production houses for the telecast of a wide range of shows across multiple time slots on the channel.
The invitation is part of Prasar Bharati’s Sponsored Programme Scheme and is aimed at expanding DD Bangla’s content slate with diverse and engaging programming.
As stated in a press note, the scheme allows selected programmes to be telecast on the DD Bangla network in exchange for a prescribed slot fee. In return, external producers and production houses will be permitted to utilise the allotted commercial airtime at their own discretion, offering them an opportunity to monetise their content while reaching DD Bangla’s wide audience base.
The broadcaster has encouraged applicants to carefully review the detailed guidelines attached to the official notice before submitting their proposals. These guidelines outline the eligibility criteria, documentation requirements and content specifications to be followed under the scheme.
Applications, along with all necessary documents and pilot episodes, must be submitted to Doordarshan Kendra, Kolkata.
The last date for submission is January 31, 2026, by 6 pm. DD Bangla said the initiative is part of its continued efforts to collaborate with established content creators and bring varied programming to its viewers across the state.
