The makers of ‘Border 2’ have unveiled the first visual featuring all four lead actors — Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty together, while also announcing that the film’s teaser will be launched on December 16.
The teaser release is scheduled for 1.30 pm on Vijay Diwas, a day that commemorates India’s victory in the 1971 war and honours the courage and sacrifice of the country’s armed forces.

According to a PTI report, the newly released ensemble artwork follows the individual character posters that had already generated considerable buzz.
The latest visual brings the four actors into a single commanding frame, underlining the scale, intensity and patriotic tone of the film. Each character is portrayed with a distinct presence — Sunny Deol appears in his familiar, battle-hardened avatar, Varun Dhawan exudes steely determination on the frontline, Diljit Dosanjh reflects raw resilience amid conflict, while Ahan Shetty represents bold, youthful courage.
The announcement of the teaser launch on Vijay Diwas has further heightened anticipation around the film, given the significance of the date and the legacy associated with the ‘Border’ franchise. The original ‘Border’ remains one of Hindi cinema’s most iconic war films, remembered for its stirring portrayal of soldiers and sacrifice.
‘Border 2’ is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films. The film is backed by producers Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, and is directed by Anurag Singh. The makers have said the sequel continues the tradition of honouring the bravery and indomitable spirit of Indian soldiers, promising a cinematic journey rooted in patriotism, courage and sacrifice.
The film is slated to hit theatres on January 23, 2026, setting the stage for one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
