Green Gold Animation, one of India’s most recognised names in original kids’ entertainment, has announced the launch of its dedicated Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) channel, Green Gold TV.
The new 24×7 channel will be available across major connected TV and streaming platforms including TCL, Airtel Xstream, RunnTV, YuppTV and Cloud TV, with more expansions set to follow.
The announcement marks a significant step for the studio as it becomes one of the first major Indian animation companies to officially enter the FAST ecosystem—a fast-growing digital format redefining how entertainment is consumed on connected TVs across India.
Green Gold TV will air a curated lineup of full episodes and animated movies in Hindi, aimed at kids and family audiences. Viewers will have free access to some of the studio’s most loved IPs, including ‘Super Bheem’, ‘Mighty Raju’, ‘Chorr Police’, ‘Krishna Balram’, ‘Luv Kushh’, ‘Maha Ganesha’ and ‘Vikram Betal’.
Rajiv Chilaka, Founder & CEO of Green Gold Animation, said the launch comes at a pivotal moment when content discovery and viewing habits are rapidly evolving. “The television landscape is at the brink of a major transformation, with FAST channels redefining how audiences experience content. We are excited to be among the first Indian studios to embrace this change. With Green Gold TV, we are excited to bring our catalogue of original Indian stories directly into living rooms across the country, expanding our reach to millions of households, offering stories that families can enjoy together — free, seamless, and in a format built for the future,” he said.
Globally, FAST channels have seen explosive growth and are now gaining strong traction in India on the back of rising connected TV penetration. As connected TV households inch towards an estimated 150 million in the next few years, the opportunity for ad-supported streaming continues to grow. FAST channels offer viewers a lean-back experience similar to linear television, but delivered via the internet and monetised through advertisements rather than subscriptions.
For Green Gold Animation, the launch of Green Gold TV marks a new chapter in its digital-first approach. Unlike YouTube feeds, the FAST channel will run as a standalone, uninterrupted viewing experience featuring 22-minute episodic programming and 60-minute animated movies designed for both young audiences and family co-viewing.
Set to go live in December, the channel will debut with six flagship titles, with plans for a gradual expansion into new IPs and original content. Alongside enhancing audience reach, the project also opens new advertising-led monetisation avenues for the studio.
By bringing its rich library of Indian animated stories to the FAST ecosystem, Green Gold Animation is setting a new benchmark for how kids’ content can be delivered, discovered and enjoyed across the country’s rapidly evolving digital entertainment landscape.
