Pocket FM has appointed Adityan Kayalakal as Vice President – Brand, marking his return to the entertainment ecosystem after spending the past few years building brand momentum across fintech, edtech, and emerging web3 companies.
The update was shared by Kayalakal through a LinkedIn announcement, where he described the move as a “homecoming” to a category he believes creates stories that travel, resonate, and stay.
In his new mandate, Kayalakal will work closely with Vineet Singh and a cross-functional leadership team as Pocket FM sharpens its brand and go-to-market strategy. This appointment comes at a crucial moment for the audio entertainment platform, which is rapidly expanding its global footprint and investing heavily in original content as it prepares for its next phase of scale.
Kayalakal brings a strong record of brand building and growth leadership across some of India’s most competitive sectors. His experience spans NBA India, Publicis, BYJU’S, Jupiter Money, and Veera, where he led launches, content strategy, brand communication, and large-scale audience growth. His portfolio includes high-impact milestones—from steering distribution for the NBA in India, to leading high-visibility campaigns at BYJU’S, to driving Veera to 4 million users in its first year.
At Pocket FM, his responsibilities sit at the intersection of storytelling, culture, and scaled brand creation—areas where he has repeatedly delivered measurable momentum. As the platform accelerates its global ambitions and strengthens its library of originals, Kayalakal’s entry comes with both strategic clarity and the experience required to fuel the company’s next leap forward.
