Honey Singh, one of India’s most influential musical icons, is stepping into a new space — one where the performer takes a backseat and the person steps forward.
NDTV Good Times has announced the rapper’s nationwide ‘My Story’ Tour, an intimate and revealing experience that promises to bring audiences closer to the life behind the music.
According to an NDTV press release, this tour is unlike anything Singh has done before. It focuses not on the spectacle of performance, but on the journey that shaped the artist — the detours, the difficult chapters, the rediscovery, and the moments of clarity that came along the way. For an artist who has lived every rise and fall under a public lens, this tour marks a deeply personal turn.
The tour will present his familiar hits in a new light — reintroduced as fragments of lived experiences, each song connected to the emotional or personal milestone that helped shape it. Honey Singh intends to narrate his life through his music, moving through its highs, interruptions, and the revelations that eventually helped him reclaim his purpose.
The ‘My Story’ tour will span 11 cities across India and fittingly begins in Delhi — the city where Singh’s own story took shape. The rapper, who grew up in Karampura in West Delhi, insisted that the tour must start “from where it all started,” bringing his journey full circle with both nostalgia and renewed intent.
The tour was unveiled at the NDTV Studios in an atmosphere charged with energy and celebration. Speaking at the announcement, Singh said, “People have heard my music for years, but very few have heard the story that shaped it. The ‘My Story’ tour is my chance to share that journey — the moments, the lessons, and the turning points that made me who I am. It feels like the right time to tell it, and the right moment to do it with NDTV Good Times.”
Rahul Kanwal, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of NDTV, described Honey Singh’s journey as one of the most compelling narratives in contemporary Indian music. “‘The ‘My Story’ tour draws from that journey — it’s fire, its fragility, and its fearless honesty. We are proud to partner with an artist who is willing to share not just his hits, but his life story,” he said.
Adding to this, Rahul Shaw, Chief Experiences Officer at NDTV, said that every city on the tour will offer a different rhythm, a different energy, and a unique window into the artist’s experiences.
