Prime Video has dropped the much-awaited trailer for ‘The Family Man’ S3, giving fans a thrilling glimpse into the next chapter of the acclaimed spy thriller created by Raj & DK. The new season, led by Manoj Bajpayee, is all set to premiere globally on November 21.
As per a PTI report, the upcoming season sees Srikant Tiwari (Bajpayee) in an unfamiliar position — on the run. This time, he’s not only hunted by new adversaries Rukma (Jaideep Ahlawat) and Meera (Nimrat Kaur), but also by his own intelligence unit, TASC. The trailer teases a tense and action-packed storyline where Srikant’s double life as a secret agent and a family man begins to collapse under pressure.
“Torn between duty, emotions, and responsibilities, Srikant is racing against time, as he must protect not only himself and his family but also the nation from an imminent threat,” reads the show’s official synopsis.
The new season introduces Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur to the cast, alongside returning favourites Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Gul Panag. Viewers can expect the signature elements that have defined ‘The Family Man’ — witty dialogues, high-octane chases, thrilling action sequences, and the emotional conflict of a man balancing espionage with domestic life.
“Season three of The Family Man turns Srikant’s covert professional and fragile personal life upside down, as he is forced to go on the run with his family while facing an even more alarming threat in Rukma and Meera,” Raj & DK said in a joint statement. “Both Jaideep and Nimrat are perfect choices to embody these dynamic and menacing foes, testing not only Srikant’s grit and resolve but also his loyalty to his family and his nation.”
The creators added that the new chapter takes the story “several notches higher” with heightened tension and gripping, edge-of-the-seat moments that will keep viewers hooked.
Manoj Bajpayee, who returns to reprise his most iconic role, said fans have constantly been asking him, “Kab aa raha hai Srikant Tiwari?” He added, “We finally have the answer with a new season that’s not only bigger, bolder, and more exciting but also raises the stakes higher than ever for Srikant, as he finds himself cornered with no respite in sight.”
The National Award-winning actor said slipping back into the role felt like a homecoming. “I couldn’t wait for the show to return and step back into Srikant’s shoes for the third time. I’m confident audiences will enjoy the new season and continue to shower their love on the show and its unforgettable characters,” Bajpayee said.
Jaideep Ahlawat, who earned widespread acclaim for Prime Video’s Paatal Lok, expressed excitement about joining the franchise. “I have always admired Raj and DK for their creativity and bringing to life a series like The Family Man, which has become one of the most loved Indian shows globally. Without giving away much, I can promise that audiences will be surprised to see me in this role,” he said.
Nimrat Kaur shared that joining the series as a powerful new character was a “dream come true.” She added, “Playing Meera was thrilling and challenging — especially performing alongside Manoj and Jaideep. The way the story unfolds, I believe audiences will want to binge it in one go.”
Produced by D2R Films, ‘The Family Man’ S3 is set to deliver another gripping ride filled with action, emotion, and suspense — where the hunter becomes the hunted.
