As election fever grips the nation, NDTV is set to turn Patna into the epicentre of India’s political discourse with ‘Power Play – Bihar’, scheduled for November 1.
The event will bring together Bihar’s most influential political figures and national leaders on a single stage, setting the tone for debates that could shape the upcoming election season.
According to a press release from NDTV, the highlight of the event will be a keynote address by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, titled ‘The Power Play: India’s Election Game Changer.’ His session will explore Bihar’s pivotal role in shaping India’s democratic future, making it the most anticipated moment of the day.
Adding further depth to the event, political strategist and Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor will present ‘A Fresh Blueprint for Governance,’ offering his take on Bihar’s evolving political narrative. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will bring a national perspective in his session ‘Bihar 2025: Can Congress Reinvent Its Past Glory?’ while Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhury will take the stage with “BJP’s Samrat: Will He Wear the Crown?” — a discussion expected to draw keen attention.
Known for his candid opinions, Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh will appear in “Unfiltered,” a conversation likely to feature his trademark candour. Meanwhile, Chirag Paswan, Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, will deliver ‘From Legacy to Leadership: Chirag’s Bihar Pitch,’ reflecting on his party’s vision for the state.
Other key voices joining the Power Play stage include Upendra Kushwaha, Pappu Yadav, Shambhavi Chaudhary, Misa Bharti, Kanhaiya Kumar, and Jitan Ram Manjhi — each expected to share their views on pressing issues such as caste dynamics, women’s empowerment, youth participation, employment, and independent politics.
Speaking about the upcoming event, Rahul Kanwal, CEO & Editor-in-Chief of NDTV, said, “Bihar has always played a crucial role in shaping India’s political narrative. With Power Play – Bihar, NDTV is creating a platform where the state’s most important voices come together to debate the big questions, challenge each other’s vision, and engage directly with the aspirations of the people. This is democracy at its most authentic, and it is a reflection of NDTV’s commitment to purposeful journalism.”
NDTV’s ‘Power Play – Bihar’ promises to deliver an insightful look into one of India’s most significant electoral conversations, bringing together the voices that matter most as the country steps closer to the polls.
