Swastik Stories, the creative powerhouse behind some of India’s most celebrated mythological and historical dramas, has announced the launch of India’s first cultural storytelling and entertainment FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) channel, which, it claimed, is a digital destination where India’s history, values and imagination come alive for the modern audience.
The new channel, titled Swastik Stories, brings free, round-the-clock access to viewers across JioTV, LG, Xiaomi TV and RunnTV, along with other leading digital and connected TV platforms, collectively reaching over 50 million users, Swastik said in a press release yesterday.
According to the official press note, Swastik Stories builds upon the company’s 18-year legacy of crafting visually grand and emotionally powerful narratives from ‘Mahabharat’ and ‘RadhaKrishn’ to ‘Porus’ and ‘Shrimad Ramayan’.
With this launch, the creative studio expands its vision into the FAST ecosystem, designed to take India’s cultural wisdom and mythology to every household and every screen. The platform will be available across mobile, digital and CTV devices and is projected to reach 90 percent of CTV households by March 2026.
Premiering October 31, the channel’s first original digital show, ‘Hamara Vinayak’, will debut on the Swastik Stories YouTube channel, with same-day streaming on the FAST platform across JioTV, LG, Xiaomi, and RunnTV. The show embraces a short-format cinematic storytelling style with 10–12-minute episodes.
Speaking about the launch, Siddharth Kumar Tewary, Founder & Chief Storyteller at Swastik Stories, said, “Swastik Stories is about giving Indian culture a new rhythm in the digital age. We want to reach every screen, every home, and every viewer who seeks meaning and connection in the stories of our past — told in a voice that belongs to the present. This is not just a channel launch but the beginning of a cultural storytelling movement — one that carries India’s stories forward with heart, honesty, and hope.”
Adding to the collaboration, Drashti Thaker, AVP Marketing at 1 Finance, which is a major sponsor for shows, said, “At 1Finance, we believe that everyone needs the right coach to guide them, whether in life or finance. That’s why our collaboration with ‘Hamara Vinayak’ feels so natural. This story mirrors the lives of today’s mass affluent, those striving for growth while seeking the right counsel to achieve balance and clarity in their financial journey.”
