Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has warmly welcomed actress Aneet Padda, who is all set to make her debut in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU) with the upcoming film ‘Shakti Shalini’. The actor took to Instagram to share his excitement and appreciation for the newcomer, making the announcement even more special for fans of the popular franchise.
According to a UNI report, Ayushmann posted a screenshot from the ‘Thamma’ post-credit scene, which confirmed Aneet’s entry into the MHCU. Sharing the image on his Instagram story, he wrote, “Welcome to the MHCU aneetpadda! Punjabi aa gaye oye!! From one dreamer to another — keep chasing what you want. Nothing is impossible. So proud to see someone from Punjab making us all proud. Can’t wait to see you shine in Shakti Shalini! Onwards and upwards, Aneet.”

The teaser for the upcoming film was recently unveiled in theatres alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s Thamma, sparking excitement among fans for what’s next in the expanding universe.
Director Amar Kaushik, who has been closely involved with the franchise, praised Aneet’s casting, calling her the perfect fit for the world of MHCU. “Aneet brings a fresh energy and strong screen presence that instantly stood out. She fits beautifully into the tone and spirit of Shakti Shalini,” Kaushik said.
