BIG FM, one of India’s largest radio networks, has partnered with the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) as the Official Radio Partner for the IndianOil New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships. The prestigious event will be hosted at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from September 27 to October 5, 2025.
According to a BIG FM press release, this will be the first time India is hosting the global para-athletics championships, which are set to bring together more than 2,500 para-athletes from across the world. The event is being viewed as a landmark moment for Indian sports, underlining the country’s commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and sporting excellence on the global stage.
As part of the association, BIG FM will utilize its wide network across metros and regional markets to generate awareness, build anticipation, and highlight the journeys of participating para-athletes. The radio network plans to air special programming that includes athlete interviews, exclusive segments, and interactive campaigns designed to bring listeners closer to the spirit of the championships.
