Times Play, the digital-first OTT platform from Times Network, has officially made its international debut in the United States through a partnership with Sling TV. The launch is aimed at providing specially curated entertainment content for the Indian diaspora in the region, strengthening Times Network’s presence in the global digital entertainment space.
According to a Times Play press release, Times Play offers a wide array of on-demand programming that includes short-form series, Bollywood shows, documentaries, and lifestyle content. The platform has been designed to deliver a personalized and engaging viewing experience for US-based audiences, particularly those seeking fresh and relatable Indian content.
This move also expands Times Network’s existing footprint on Sling TV. Viewers in the U.S. already have access to the Times bouquet of channels—Times Now, Times Now Navbharat, ET Now, Times Now World, and Zoom—available through Sling, DISH, and Sling Freestream on multiple devices. With the addition of Times Play, Sling subscribers can now explore a broader mix of entertainment choices spanning Bollywood, food, lifestyle, and documentary programming.
Commenting on the launch, Times Network said, “We are thrilled to make Times Play’s curated content available to audiences in the United States through our partnership with Sling TV. By bringing popular shows spanning Bollywood, lifestyle, food and documentaries, we aim to offer a refreshing and immersive entertainment experience that resonates with the diaspora. This availability marks an important milestone in Times Network’s efforts to expand the reach of its premium content globally.”
