Zee Keralam has appointed Seenivasan Subramanian as its new Chief Channel Officer, entrusting him with the channel’s strategic and operational leadership under Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited. Based in Kochi, he will oversee the brand’s growth trajectory in one of India’s most competitive regional entertainment markets.
The announcement was made by Subramanian through a LinkedIn post, where he wrote, “New beginnings, bigger responsibilities and a deeper commitment. stepping in as chief channel officer – Zee Keralam at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited.”
This move marks a homecoming for Subramanian, who earlier worked with Zee Entertainment between 2018 and 2022 as brand head and director – marketing, strategy & insights. During that tenure, he was instrumental in launching Zee Keralam and strengthening its positioning among Malayali audiences.
Before rejoining Zee, Subramanian spent over three and a half years with Viacom18, where he held leadership roles in regional clusters. He most recently served as head of marketing for the Kannada cluster and, prior to that, for Colours Tamil.
With more than 15 years of industry experience, Subramanian has worked across media, marketing, and broadcast operations with reputed organisations such as Puthiya Thalaimurai TV, Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group), and Hewlett-Packard.
