NDTV has announced the appointment of senior journalist Vikram Oza as Consulting Anchor for its business channel NDTV Profit, a move that further strengthens the channel’s editorial team as it seeks to reimagine business news for a changing India.
According to a press release, Oza brings with him more than two decades of experience across leading Indian television networks, including ET Now, BTVI, Bloomberg TV India and Times Now. Over his career, he has worked across the breadth of television media—anchoring, editorial leadership, strategic planning, creative programming, monetisation, production and special projects.
Known for his ability to combine journalistic rigour with content innovation, Oza has anchored prime-time shows, curated long-format features and steered coverage of market-shaping developments as well as policy conversations. His deep understanding of business news and sharp editorial instincts have made him a trusted name in financial journalism.
NDTV Profit said Oza’s expertise in conceptualising high-impact specials, designing meaningful conversations and experimenting with new formats will play a central role in the channel’s effort to narrate stories that reflect India’s economic rise and growing global influence.
As the channel charts its next phase of growth, the appointment is also seen as a reaffirmation of NDTV Profit’s commitment to deliver authoritative, insightful and aspirational programming, aligned with the ambitions of a new India.
