Amazon MGM Studios India and Zee Music Co have unveiled the official music album of Nishaanchi, the much-awaited film directed by Anurag Kashyap. With 15 original tracks spanning energetic dance numbers to soulful ballads, the album captures themes of love, rebellion, and raw intensity, promising something for every mood. The film is slated to hit theatres across India on September 19.

In a press release, the studios described the album as the “heartbeat of the film” — bold, unyielding, and alive like a character in its own right. Featuring compositions by Anurag Saikia, Manan Bhardwaj, Dhruv Ghanekar, Aaishvary Thackeray, and Nishikar Chhibber, the soundtrack is brought to life by voices such as Arijit Singh, Madhubanti Bagchi, Manan Bhardwaj, and Prajakta Shukre. Lyricists include Pyarelal Yadav, Manan Bhardwaj, Shashwat Dwivedi, Varun Grover, and Dr. Sagar, among others.

Early releases like ‘Neend Bhi Ter’i and ‘Dear Country’ have already struck a chord with listeners, while the full album offers an even wider palette of sounds. From the earthy charm of ‘Pigeon Kabootar’ to the playful folk energy of ‘Jhule Jhule Paalna’, and the thumka-worthy ‘Saram Lagela’, each song brings its own flavour. One of the most anticipated tracks, ‘Birwa’, sung by Arijit Singh and penned by Dr. Sagar, has been described by the singer as a song that “stays with you” through its honesty and emotion.

Speaking about his experience, composer Anurag Saikia shared that ‘Filam Dekho’ was born out of an uninhibited jam with Shashwat Dwivedi and Madhubanti Bagchi and naturally evolved into the title track. “Each song has its own world, yet they all belong to the same story. Kashyap gave us the freedom to follow our hearts, and that made us push our creative limits,” Saikia said.

Produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under Jar Pictures, in association with Flip Films, Nishaanchi marks the acting debut of Aaishvary Thackeray in a high-octane double role, alongside Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra. Written by Prasoon Mishra, Ranjan Chandel, and Anurag Kashyap, the film promises a masala mix of action, humour, and drama.
