In a strategic move to diversify its business model and strengthen audience engagement, ITV Network has announced the launch of a dedicated Ticketed Events Vertical, led by Akshansh Yadav, Chief Product & Technology Officer. This marks a significant shift for the media powerhouse, signalling a fresh revenue stream through immersive and high-impact events.
The inaugural event under this vertical is the highly anticipated ‘We Women Want’ conclave, scheduled for August 7 in New Delhi. The conclave will spotlight female empowerment and honour extraordinary women across sectors with the prestigious Shakti Awards.
With a star-studded guest list, including Neha Dhupia, Sunny Leone, Urfi Javed, Nimrat Kaur, Dia Mirza and Ekta Kapoor, the event promises to be a powerful convergence of voices advocating for gender equity, celebration, and social change.
Tickets for the event are already available on BookMyShow, District, and WeWomenWant.com, and the response has been overwhelming . The first round sold out rapidly, prompting ITV Network to expand capacity for increased participation
Speaking about the venture, Yadav said, “Digital media is evolving, and ticketed events are emerging as the next big wave—offering audiences not just content but immersive experiences. We’re thrilled that our first foray into ticketed events is being met with such enthusiasm, validating our vision for a diversified and future-ready business model.”
This launch positions ITV Network alongside global media players who are leveraging live experiences as an avenue for monetization, brand loyalty, and community building.
