Prime Video has announced its latest original series ‘Rangeen’, a vibrant drama that promises to explore the complexities of identity, love, and ambition, set against the backdrop of a fast-changing modern India. The much-anticipated show is all set to release on July 25 on the streaming platform.
According to a PTI report, ‘Rangeen’ will dive deep into the intertwined lives of its central characters as they navigate the chaos and colour of their personal and professional worlds. While specific plot details remain under wraps, the show is expected to deliver an emotionally resonant and visually rich narrative, balancing moments of light-heartedness with hard-hitting social themes.
Created by a fresh team of storytellers and headlined by a dynamic cast of newcomers and established names, ‘Rangeen’ is being positioned as one of Prime Video’s most relatable Indian originals this year. The platform has been steadily expanding its footprint in regional and youth-centric storytelling, and ‘Rangeen’ is said to reflect that strategy in both tone and treatment.
The makers describe ‘Rangeen’ as more than just a coming-of-age story — it’s an unapologetic portrayal of real people living in technicolour shades of joy, heartbreak, and rebellion. With a sharp screenplay, contemporary themes, and a catchy soundtrack expected to accompany the series, the show aims to resonate strongly with India’s Gen Z and millennial audiences.
