In a move set to bolster its regional engagement and growth efforts, the International Trade Association for the Broadcast & Media Industry (IABM) has appointed Sushant Rai as the new Head of Member Engagement and Growth – APAC. The announcement was made via a LinkedIn post by the organization’s global team, expressing excitement and confidence in Rai’s ability to lead the next chapter of development across Asia-Pacific.
Headquartered in the United Kingdom, IABM is the leading international trade association that represents suppliers of broadcast and media technology. With a mission to support member businesses and drive innovation in the ever-evolving media tech space, IABM provides research, insights, networking opportunities, training, and advocacy on a global scale.
Sushant Rai brings with him a rich legacy of experience in the media sector, having held key leadership roles that span both the content creation and technology supply chains. Well-known for his sharp strategic acumen and hands-on leadership style, Rai’s professional journey has been defined by his ability to forge strong business relationships, drive meaningful growth, and champion innovation within complex markets. His understanding of the APAC media ecosystem and deep-rooted industry connections are expected to play a pivotal role in his new assignment.
Rai will be joining Ana-Claire Bernardes’s Global Member Engagement & Growth Team, working closely with Michelle Kelly and Purminder Gandhu to accelerate member outreach and value delivery in the APAC region. The team, known for its collaborative spirit and outcome-driven approach, is committed to fostering a vibrant global community of media technology professionals and organizations.
