Headquartered in the United Kingdom, IABM is the leading international trade association that represents suppliers of broadcast and media technology. With a mission to support member businesses and drive innovation in the ever-evolving media tech space, IABM provides research, insights, networking opportunities, training, and advocacy on a global scale.
Sushant Rai brings with him a rich legacy of experience in the media sector, having held key leadership roles that span both the content creation and technology supply chains. Well-known for his sharp strategic acumen and hands-on leadership style, Rai’s professional journey has been defined by his ability to forge strong business relationships, drive meaningful growth, and champion innovation within complex markets. His understanding of the APAC media ecosystem and deep-rooted industry connections are expected to play a pivotal role in his new assignment.
Rai will be joining Ana-Claire Bernardes’s Global Member Engagement & Growth Team, working closely with Michelle Kelly and Purminder Gandhu to accelerate member outreach and value delivery in the APAC region. The team, known for its collaborative spirit and outcome-driven approach, is committed to fostering a vibrant global community of media technology professionals and organizations.
“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Sushant Rai,” the LinkedIn post stated. “He’s a highly respected figure on both sides of the supply chain, and his market knowledge and industry contacts are second to none. As we continue to build our member community and fuel growth across APAC, his leadership and expertise will be invaluable.”
Sushant’s appointment signals IABM’s growing focus on the APAC markets, which are becoming increasingly influential in the global media landscape. With more content creation hubs, emerging tech solutions, and an expanding viewer base across the region, IABM’s investment in local leadership is both timely and strategic.
As the organization continues to drive member engagement and support growth across continents, Rai’s entry into the leadership team is poised to bring fresh energy, regional perspective, and industry relevance to the association’s mission in APAC.
