The Indian Streaming Academy (ISA), India’s first institution dedicated to celebrating excellence across OTT and digital-first storytelling, has unveiled the Top 100 Streaming and Digital Power List for 2025.
The curated list features the most influential actors, creators, showrunners, podcasters, platform leaders, and studio executives who have transformed India’s streaming ecosystem, a media statement from the ISA stated yesterday.
From breakout stars and cultural disruptors to platform visionaries and regional pioneers, each name on the list has helped define what India watches and how it watches in the streaming era.
The 2025 power list is not just a celebration of popularity but is a reflection of impact, innovation and influence. These 100 individuals represent the convergence of storytelling, technology and cultural relevance. Together, they are driving the evolution of India’s digital entertainment economy.
The list reflects India’s multilingual storytelling ecosystem, honouring content in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, and beyond. It highlights new-age IP builders and platform shapers, from scripted drama and reality shows to talk formats, docu-series, and creator-led storytelling.
Sharing his thoughts on the list, Vishnu Induri, Founder of Indian Streaming Academy, said: “India’s digital storytelling landscape is at its most exciting inflection point. With creators emerging from every corner of the country and stories resonating across borders, the power list is a celebration of the minds that are shaping our entertainment future.”
Adding his perspective on the significance of the list in today’s digital era, Raj Nayak, Co-founder, Indian Streaming Academy, commented: “Streaming has democratised storytelling in a way we’ve never seen before. Today, an idea from a small town can inspire a global audience. The Power List is our way of acknowledging those who are not just chasing trends but setting them. Those who combine creativity with courage to move the needle forward in the digital age.”
The release of the Power List comes ahead of the second edition of the NEXA Streaming Academy Awards, to be held on July 5, 2025 in Mumbai. The first edition set a new benchmark as India’s only all-platform, all-language OTT awards platform, and the upcoming ceremony promises to raise the bar even higher with participation from India’s top creators, platforms, and digital pioneers.
