Zee Telugu celebrated two decades of entertaining Telugu audiences in grand style with the Zee Telugu Apsara Awards 2025—a glittering night that brought together the brightest stars from Tollywood and Telugu television for an unforgettable evening. The milestone event was a tribute to the channel’s legacy, capturing its journey of 20 years with heartfelt tributes, high-voltage performances, and emotional moments.

The event was anchored by the dynamic duo Sudheer and Ravi, who kept the energy high and the crowd engaged with their signature wit. Among the most memorable segments was a nostalgic throwback featuring Jayapradha, Aishwarya Rajesh, and director Anil Ravipudi, reminiscing about their time on ‘Sankrantiki Vastunnam’, adding a warm and emotional touch to the evening.
Actress Amala Akkineni wowed the audience with a graceful dance performance alongside Ravi and Roja. She also took the opportunity to highlight her animal protection initiatives and delight the audience with anecdotes about her family Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and Akhil—bringing both charm and substance to the stage.
In one of the most touching segments of the evening, veteran actress Jayasudha was honoured with a custom-made saree, stitched from fabric signed by her fans—symbolising her deep bond with the audience over the years. A special cake-cutting ceremony and a dance tribute were also organised in honour of Samantha, celebrating her inspirational career in cinema.
The night took a deeply emotional turn as Padma Shri Thimmakka, the 114-year-old environmentalist who has planted over 8,000 trees in her lifetime, was recognised with a thunderous standing ovation. Her presence added gravitas to the night, reminding everyone of the power of dedication and purpose. Meanwhile, Sailaja Kiron, Managing Director of Margadarsi Chit Fund Pvt. Ltd., was presented with the ‘Mahila Margadarsi’ title, applauding her leadership in business and social impact.
Performances by Sridevi and Roshan, known for their chemistry in Court, added youthful zest. An emotional moment unfolded as Sridevi shared a tender exchange with her mother on stage, bringing a tearful smile to many faces.
The stage came alive with sizzling dance numbers by Monica Reba, Hebah Patel, Sridevi, and Roshan, along with dreamy romantic performances from popular fiction couples, captivating the crowd with glamour and romance.
