Actors Fatima Sana Shaikh and Pavail Gulati are all set to share screen space for the first time in the upcoming film ‘Teen Kauwe’. The project, which promises an intriguing storyline and fresh chemistry between the two talented performers, has officially gone on floors and is already generating buzz for its offbeat title and unconventional pairing.
According to an IANS report, the film is produced by Manav Shrivastav under the banner of Smart Mind Productions and is being directed by Pulkit, who has previously worked on well-received titles like ‘Bose: Dead/Alive’. ‘Teen Kauwe’ is said to be a quirky and engaging narrative that brings together a unique blend of humour, drama, and relatability set against a contemporary backdrop.
Fatima Sana Shaikh, known for her impactful performances in ‘Dangal’, ‘Ludo’, and ‘Modern Love Mumbai’, expressed her excitement about the project and working with Pavail. “The script immediately struck a chord with me. It’s witty, layered, and very relevant. I’m looking forward to collaborating with Pavail and the entire team,” she said.
Pavail Gulati, who gained recognition through films like ‘Thappad’ and ‘Dobaaraa’, shared that he was equally drawn to the refreshing nature of the story. “This is the kind of project that excites me as an actor. There’s so much to play with, and I’m thrilled to be teaming up with Fatima for the first time,” he noted.
The makers are keeping other plot details under wraps, but sources suggest that the film’s narrative revolves around three unconventional characters navigating life, relationships, and societal norms with dark humour and a sharp lens. Teen Kauwe is being shot across various real locations to retain authenticity and is expected to wrap its schedule in the coming months.
With Fatima and Pavail at the helm, backed by an experienced team and a promising script, Teen Kauwe is shaping up to be a film worth watching out for in the coming year.
