Actor Rishab Shetty, who rose to pan-India fame with the blockbuster ‘Kantara’, is all set to headline a mythological epic titled ‘Jai Hanuman’. The film, directed by ‘HanuMan’ fame Prasanth Varma, will be presented by Bhushan Kumar, the head of music and film giant T-Series, adding a strong production value and reach to the much-anticipated project.
As reported by IANS, the film promises to bring together the scale of Indian mythology with cutting-edge filmmaking. Speaking about the project, director Prasanth Varma shared that ‘Jai Hanuman’ is a deeply personal and long-cherished dream. “This film is not just about the undying spirit of devotion and courage that Lord Hanuman embodies,” he said, “but also a reminder that strength guided by faith can move mountains.”
Varma also expressed his excitement about teaming up with Rishab Shetty, a performer known for his rooted storytelling and spiritual undertones. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, one of the leading production houses in the South Indian film industry, and the association with Bhushan Kumar as the presenting partner brings nationwide visibility to the title even before it hits the floors.
The announcement comes in the wake of a growing trend in Indian cinema where mythological themes are reimagined with grandeur and modern cinematic language. Given the massive success of ‘HanuMan’, Varma’s storytelling is already known for its ability to strike a chord with both mass and critical audiences. Pairing that vision with Shetty’s intense screen presence and Kumar’s far-reaching distribution network is expected to elevate Jai Hanuman to a new benchmark in devotional action cinema.
With devotional content finding renewed interest among younger audiences and families alike, ‘Jai Hanuman’ is expected to not only be a visual spectacle but also deliver a message rooted in faith, bravery, and spiritual strength. More details about the film’s release timeline, supporting cast, and crew are expected in the coming months.
