The highly anticipated trailer of Aamir Khan’s next film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ has been postponed, the actor confirmed. While fans were expecting the trailer to be released in May, the makers have decided to delay the launch due to unforeseen reasons.
According to an IANS report, Aamir Khan made the announcement during an interview, where he stated that the trailer will now drop in August instead of May as initially planned. The actor-producer did not cite any specific reason for the postponement but hinted that the delay was necessary to ensure the best possible presentation of the film. “It will now come in August. We will release the trailer in August, closer to the release,” Khan said.
‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ reunites Aamir Khan with themes similar to his 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par, although the actor clarified that the new film will carry a more lighthearted and entertaining tone. In earlier statements, Khan described the film as an emotional rollercoaster that combines humour with heartfelt storytelling. The movie is expected to carry an underlying message while offering a fun cinematic experience.
Directed by RS Prasanna, the film is said to revolve around a group of special needs children and promises a heartwarming narrative. Aamir Khan returns to the screen after a break following ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which, despite mixed reviews, earned appreciation from a niche audience. With ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, Khan aims to connect with families and children once again, in a way that resonates across generations.
The film is slated for a theatrical release later this year, and fans eagerly await a glimpse of what the actor has in store this time around. With the trailer now scheduled for August, the excitement is only expected to grow as the release date nears.
