In a bold assertion of its leadership in the digital news and information space, Network18 has launched a striking ad campaign in The Indian Express and Business Standard, declaring its overwhelming dominance over rival Times Internet across digital and social platforms.
As per a press release issued by Network18, the campaign draws on data from Comscore MMX MultiPlatform (March 2025), presenting compelling statistics that place the Network18 Group significantly ahead of its competitors. According to the report, Network18 attracted 315 million unique visitors across its digital assets — a staggering 55% lead over Times Internet, which clocked 202 million. On the social media front, the gulf is even wider. Network18 recorded 212 million unique social media visitors, almost six times more than Times Internet’s 34 million.
The campaign further highlights the massive footprint of News18.com, which alone drew 251 million unique visitors, outpacing The Times of India’s digital presence by 38 percent (TOI recorded 182 million visitors). The numbers, once again sourced from Comscore’s March 2025 report, reinforce News18’s status as one of India’s most consumed digital news destinations, both on native and social platforms.
The business side of the network is no less formidable. Moneycontrol, Network18’s flagship financial and business news portal, continues to lead the charge in engaging India’s corporate minds and market watchers. With 39.33 million unique visitors across desktop and mobile combined, Moneycontrol maintained a 15 percent lead over The Economic Times, which recorded 34.14 million unique visitors in the same period.
The campaign signals more than a metrics war it underscores a growing shift in where Indian digital audiences are placing their trust for credible, timely, and platform-optimized news. By consistently delivering high-impact stories, engaging formats, and robust financial coverage, Network18 has positioned itself as a formidable force in India’s media ecosystem.
The press release from Network18 underscores its commitment to content innovation, audience engagement, and digital-first strategy a formula that is clearly resonating with millions across India. With data-backed confidence and a sharp media campaign, Network18 has made its intent clear: it is not just participating in the digital race it’s leading it.
