Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios Limited and acclaimed filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s True Story Films have announced a three-film collaboration, set to roll out between 2025 and 2026.
This partnership aims to deliver a diverse slate of films, including a Gujarati-language feature, marking a notable expansion into regional storytelling for both production houses.
The collaboration is designed to produce films that span various genres while maintaining the distinctive storytelling styles of both studios. While specific details about the projects remain under wraps, the inclusion of a Gujarati-language film underscores a commitment to bringing regional narratives to a broader audience.
Vinod Bhanushali, Founder and Chairman of Bhanushali Studios Limited, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “This collaboration with Hansal and the team at True Story represents an exciting chapter for Bhanushali Studios as we continue to champion stories that are authentic and culturally rich. The inclusion of a Gujarati-language film holds special significance for us, as we aim to bring regional narratives to a broader audience.”
Hansal Mehta, known for his impactful storytelling in films like “Shahid” and “Aligarh,” shared his perspective: “Collaborating with Vinod and Bhanushali Studios gives us the freedom to push boundaries with stories that are both urgent and personal. This slate reflects the kind of cinema that challenges, resonates, and endures. We’re excited to amplify these voices and bring them to life on screen.”
Further details regarding the cast, directors, and production timelines are expected to be announced in the coming months, as both studios work towards bringing these compelling narratives to audiences nationwide.
