Tamannaah Bhatia is set to star alongside Sidharth Malhotra in the upcoming mythological thriller ‘Vvan’, directed by Deepak Mishra. The film is scheduled to commence shooting in June 2025 and is anticipated to release in 2026.
According to a report by IANS, ‘Vvan’ is envisioned as a folk thriller deeply rooted in Indian mythology, with a significant portion of the narrative set in forested landscapes. The production team is currently engaged in pre-production activities, including location scouting in central India.
Tamannaah Bhatia, known for her versatile roles in Indian cinema, will undergo diction training for her role in ‘Vvan’, ensuring authenticity in her portrayal. She will be collaborating closely with co-star Sidharth Malhotra during this preparation phase.
The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Deepak Mishra, renowned for his work on the acclaimed series ‘Panchayat’. ‘Vvan’ aims to offer a fresh perspective on mythological storytelling, blending traditional narratives with contemporary cinematic techniques.
With ‘Vvan’, both Tamannaah Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra are poised to delve into uncharted territories, bringing a unique blend of folklore and thriller elements to the big screen.
