A captivating new drama is on the horizon as ‘The Networker’ drops its much-anticipated trailer, promising a thought-provoking cinematic experience that delves deep into the power of influence, the fragility of belief, and the complexities of human connection in the digital age.
Set to hit theatres on May 2, the film is directed by Ishaan Nair and is anything but conventional. The trailer opens with a calm, composed voiceover speaking about trust and influence — two invisible yet dominant forces that guide our choices in today’s hyper-connected world. As the visuals build in intensity, viewers are introduced to a web of characters whose lives are intricately tied together by one enigmatic figure: The Networker.
The film stars Jim Sarbh in a sharp departure from his previous roles, portraying a suave and mysterious man who seems to possess an uncanny ability to sway minds and shape decisions. Backing Sarbh is a powerful ensemble cast featuring Sobhita Dhulipala, Naseeruddin Shah and Adil Hussain, each portraying individuals caught in The Networker’s magnetic pull.
Speaking at the trailer launch, director Nair said, “This isn’t just a story about one man—it’s about all of us. The lines between control and freedom, reality and perception, are blurrier than ever. The Networker invites you to walk that fine line.”
