The prestigious ABBY Awards 2025 Powered by One Show is set to take center stage at Goafest 2025, bringing together the best minds in the advertising and media industry. Marking its 56th edition, the awards will be held from May 21 to May 23 at the Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage and Horizon, a fitting venue for one of the most esteemed celebrations of creativity in India.
The festival, jointly organized by The Advertising Club and the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI), promises to showcase groundbreaking ideas and innovation in storytelling.
At the helm of the Awards Governing Council (AGC) are some of the most influential figures in the industry. Ajay Kakar, Head of Corporate Branding at Adani Group, serves as the Chairman, with Dheeraj Sinha, Group CEO – India and South Asia, FCB, as Co-chair. The panel also includes leading names such as Rana Barua, Alok Lall, Subramanyeswar S., Ajay Chandwani, and top representatives from AAAI, including Prasanth Kumar, Anupriya Acharya, Shashi Sinha, Sam Balsara, Mohit Joshi, and Jaideep Gandhi. Together, this powerhouse team aims to set new benchmarks in recognizing the best creative talent in the industry.
A significant highlight of this year’s ABBYs is the introduction of three new categories under Media ABBYs—Small Budget Big Impact, Sports Marketing, and Micro Marketing, expanding the total categories to 24. The Creative ABBYs will now feature 23 categories with 232 sub-categories, offering more opportunities for brands, agencies, and creative professionals to compete on a grand scale.
Adding to the credibility of the awards is a distinguished panel of Jury Chairs, comprising some of the finest creative minds in advertising, including Anupama Ramaswamy (Havas Worldwide India), Ashish Chakravarty (McCann WorldGroup), Ashish Khazanchi (Enormous Brands), Ashwini Deshpande (Elephant Design), Chandani Samadaria (L&K Saatchi & Saatchi), Chandni Shah (FCB Kinnect), Niraj Ruparel (WPP & GroupM India), P G Aditya (Talented), Praful Akali (Medulla Communications), Prateek Bhardwaj (Lowe Lintas), Priya Shivakumar (DDB Mudra Group), Raj Kamble (Famous Innovations), Raj Deepak Das (Leo Burnett, Publicis Groupe), Rajiv Beotra (HT Media Ltd.), Russell Barrett (TBWA\ India), Senthil Kumar (VML), and Tista Sen (Creative Brand Consultant).
Reflecting on the significance of the ABBY Awards, Ajay Kakar, Chairman of the AGC, emphasized how the event continues to push creative boundaries. “Each year, we witness transformative ideas that challenge norms and drive conversations. With new categories and diverse creative minds participating, we are set to celebrate work that not only showcases excellence but also inspires the next generation of storytellers. We eagerly await the entries that will define the creative landscape of 2025,” he said.
With entries now open, the countdown has begun for one of the biggest celebrations of creativity in the advertising industry. As the event draws closer, industry professionals and enthusiasts alike are eagerly awaiting the campaigns and ideas that will set new benchmarks at ABBY Awards 2025 Powered by One Show.
