Harman Baweja’s Baweja Studios and Sidharth Jain’s House of Talkies have joined forces for a three-project deal, a collaboration that brings together two powerhouse production houses, promising bold, socially relevant, and innovative storytelling.
Baweja Studios, known for its thought-provoking and emotionally resonant films, is currently riding high on the success of ‘Mrs.’, starring Sanya Malhotra. The film has sparked conversations nationwide with its deep dive into the invisible labour of women.
Meanwhile, Sidharth Jain’s House of Talkies has made waves with its disruptive storytelling, most notably with ‘Trial By Fire’, which premiered on Netflix in January 2023 and won the Filmfare OTT Award for Best Series (Critics).
This collaboration is expected to merge Baweja Studios’ ability to craft socially impactful narratives with House of Talkies reputation for fearless, boundary-pushing storytelling.
Commenting on the partnership, Harman Baweja said, “Great storytelling requires courage, and that’s exactly what Sidharth brings to the table. When I watched ‘Trial By Fire’, I saw a creator unafraid to tackle difficult narratives with sensitivity and depth. At Baweja Studios, we have always believed in telling stories that resonate on a deeper level.”
Echoing this enthusiasm, Jain stated, “Baweja Studios has built a strong reputation for bringing meaningful stories to life. With this three-project deal, we aim to develop stories that are bold, immersive and emotionally compelling.”
