ZEE5, the streaming arm of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL), has unveiled an exclusive partnership with Jio Studios, a content powerhouse under Reliance Industries Limited, promising to deliver two much-anticipated films directly to audiences that further enriches the streamer’s expansive content library.
The first film, ‘Hisaab Barabar’, starring R. Madhavan, is set to premiere on January 24 and will be available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. A satirical social drama, the film combines humour and intense emotions to address the issue of financial fraud.
The story revolves around a common man’s relentless quest to expose a billion-dollar corporate banking scam, offering audiences a gripping narrative filled with impactful performances.
The second film, ‘Mrs.’, starring Sanya Malhotra, is a thought-provoking drama about a housewife navigating life’s challenges within a traditional household. The film has already garnered global acclaim at prestigious festivals, positioning itself as a poignant exploration of resilience and empowerment.
