Abhishek Bachchan, one of Bollywood’s most recognized figures, has joined as the co-owner in the European T20 Premier League (ETPL), a cricket tournament set to debut in July 2025, Business Standard reported yesterday.
Bachchan, whose career has been marked by both success and challenges in the film industry, has seamlessly transitioned into a savvy businessman, establishing a reputation in industries such as real estate, sports, and luxury automobiles. His networth is around Rs 280 crore.
His latest investment sees him entering the world of European cricket, as the ETPL, an ICC-sanctioned tournament, prepares to showcase the talents of teams from iconic cities like Dublin, Edinburgh, and Amsterdam.
The tournament’s focus on cultivating young talent and enhancing fan engagement aligns with Bachchan’s business acumen and passion for sports, the Business Standard report stated.
