Balaji Telefilms Ltd has promoted Aparna Ramachandran to Head of Digital Originals. This move follows her successful tenure as Director of Creative Development from March 2021 to February 2023.
In her new expanded role, Aparna will continue to steer the company’s efforts in developing and producing original content while also managing strategic collaborations with streaming services and other partners.
With over 17 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry, Ramachandran brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new position. She joined Balaji Telefilms in 2021 and has since led various shows across multiple genres, contributing to the company’s digital content offerings.
Before her time at Balaji Telefilms, Aparna served as Senior Creative Director at Voot (Viacom18 Media), where she played a key role in identifying show concepts and strategies.
