TV Today Network Limited has earned a prestigious recognition at the SAFA BPA (Best Presented Annual Reports) Awards 2023, securing the Silver Award in the Service Sector category. This award highlights the network’s commitment to excellence in financial reporting, affirming its position as a leader in transparency and governance within the industry.
As per a press release, the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), which represents 11 prominent accountancy bodies across South Asia, awarded the honor based on the Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2022-23. The report was praised for its high-quality presentation and strict adherence to financial reporting standards. SAFA’s Committee for Improvement in Transparency, Accountability & Governance evaluated the report, which has now set a new benchmark for the service sector.
This Silver Award follows a similar honor earlier this year, when the report received the Silver Shield in the Service Sector category from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for Excellence in Financial Reporting. This achievement led to the report’s nomination for the SAFA BPA Award, showcasing the organization’s sustained focus on quality and precision in financial disclosures.
The award was presented to Yatender Kumar Tyagi, CFO of TV Today Network, during a ceremony held on November 11, 2024, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The event was attended by notable figures from the finance and business sectors, underscoring the significance of this recognition.
