Dadasaheb Phalke Award-winning actor Mithun Chakraborty is set to return to the silver screen with the upcoming Bengali film ‘Shontaan’(Offspring), which explores the intricate bonds between parents and their children.
The film is slated for release on December 20, just in time for the Christmas and New Year season, promising to attract moviegoers during this festive period.
In Shontaan, Mithun Chakraborty plays the role of a father alongside Ritwik Chakraborty, who portrays his son. The film also features a talented cast, including Subhashree Ganguly, Kharaj Mukherjee, and Sohini Sengupta, adding depth to the family-centric narrative, PTI reported.
