The highly anticipated ‘Indian Idol S15’ is set to premiere on Sony Entertainment Television on October 26 at 9:00 pm, with a fresh batch of contestants bringing talent, passion, and engaging personal stories. This season promises to raise the bar with auditions filled with unexpected twists and standout performances.
One of the contestants making waves is Srijan Porail, who captured the spotlight with a powerful rendition of ‘Alvida’ from ‘Life in a… Metro’. His performance left judges mesmerized, not only by his vocal prowess but by his unique approach to balancing career ambitions with personal life. Srijan shared his story of choosing career over relationships, humorously describing a past relationship as more of an “internship” with a “stipend of betrayal.” To cope, he humorously founded an “NGO” he calls the Non-Girlfriend Organization, with a pledge to stay focused on his career and keep his friends on the same path, UNI reported.
Judges, including rapper Badshah, couldn’t help but admire Srijan’s dedication. Badshah, impressed by Srijan’s resolve, jokingly committed to joining his mission, adding his own humorous quip about a “single-member NGO.” The moment added a lighthearted yet motivational tone to the audition, setting the stage for a season that promises both entertainment and inspiration.
