Times Network has emerged as the leading digital news publisher with 104 million monthly unique users across its digital platforms, according to Comscore data for August 2024.
According to a press note from the news network, this achievement highlights Times Network‘s innovative content strategies and digital-first initiatives, positioning it ahead of legacy digital players such as NDTV (99 million unique users), ABP Network (89 million unique users), Jagran (86 million unique users), and Indian Express (77 million unique users). This growth reinforces Times Network’s leadership in both general and business news segments.
Times Network Digital has witnessed an impressive 168 percent growth since February 2024, outpacing the industry average growth rate of only four percent. This surge can be attributed to its top-tier English and Hindi news, entertainment, and lifestyle brands, including TimesNow.in, ETNow.in, TimesNowNavbharat.in, Zoomtv.com, and Digit. in.
These platforms provide a personalized news experience with consumer-centric explainers, digital-first initiatives, live interactive segments, and diverse engagement tools, along with expert opinions and content powered by Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality, the statement added.
The Network’s recent acquisition of Digit.in has also contributed to its growth, achieving a remarkable 160 percent increase in performance within just three months.
In a bid to broaden its audience base, Times Network Digital has recently ventured into regional languages, including Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, and Bangla, offering localized content tailored to consumer needs. Plans are in place to expand further into additional Indian languages, such as Malayalam and Kannada.
Times Network continues to diversify its offerings with the launch of TimesDrive.in, focused on auto news, and HealthandMe.com, catering to health and wellness. These platforms complement the company’s success in technology news following its strategic acquisition of Digit.in.
Earlier this year, it was recognized as the fastest-growing digital video news network in India, boasting a monthly reach exceeding 4 billion across its channels.
