Vi has launched its latest offering for prepaid customers: the Vi Movies & TV Super Pack. This initiative aims to enhance user experience by providing a comprehensive range of entertainment options within a single app, consolidating access to multiple platforms.

The Vi Movies & TV platform boasts an extensive library, featuring up to 17 OTT apps, 350 live TV channels, and complimentary access to various content libraries. With the introduction of the Super Pack, prepaid users can now access over 15 OTT platforms, including popular services such as SonyLIV, ZEE5, ManoramaMAX, and FanCode, alongside a generous data package of 10GB, the telecom company said in a press release.

The benefits of the Super Pack are also available to all prepaid users recharging with the Vi Hero Unlimited Rs 449 or Rs 979 packs at no additional cost. These packs come with unlimited calling and a daily data quota, along with unique data advantages like unlimited high-speed data from 12 AM to 6 AM and weekend data rollover, enhancing the overall value proposition for users.

According to a recent report by Ormax Media, India’s OTT audience has surged to an impressive 547.3 million, with rural areas contributing approximately 65 percent of video consumption. The penetration of OTT services has increased to 38 percent of the population, up from 34 percent last year, and there are currently 99.6 million active paid subscribers across these platforms.

Smartphones remain the preferred device for watching videos, with 97% of OTT viewers using them. The new Super Pack addresses the rising demand for entertainment by offering 15+ OTT platforms in one convenient location, bundled with essential data benefits exclusively for prepaid customers.

The Vi Movies & TV App offers four subscription plans for prepaid users: Vi Movies & TV Plus, Vi Movies & TV Lite, Vi Movies & TV Pro, and the newly added Vi Movies & TV Super Pack, priced at just Rs 175. As the number of OTT platforms continues to grow, managing multiple subscriptions can become both inconvenient and costly.
