News18 India has emerged as the leader in the Hindi news segment, according to the latest Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India ratings. The channel said it has moved percent percent ahead of Aaj Tak, commanding 74,576 AMA’000s compared to Aaj Tak’s 73,249 AMA’000s.
According to a press note from the News18 group, TV9 Bharatvarsh followed in third place with 62,397 AMA’000s, while India TV and Republic Bharat secured 54,323 and 53,671 AMA’000s, respectively.
News18 India credited its success to a strong line-up of prime-time shows and prominent anchors like Kishore Ajwani, Amish Devgan, Rubika Liyaquat, Prateek Trivedi and Aman Chopra, who offer unique insights and make complex issues accessible to viewers.
News18 Network continues to dominate viewership across both TV and digital platforms, reinforcing its position as a trusted source for news across India, it added.
