Gazal Maheshwari named vertical head – LCS sales at Disney+ Hotstar

Gazal Maheshwari has taken on a new role as Vertical Head – LCS Sales at Disney+ Hotstar. Formerly the Associate Director at Star Sports (Disney Star), Maheshwari is excited about her transition and the opportunities ahead.

In her LinkedIn post, Maheshwari expressed her gratitude and enthusiasm: “After a rewarding tenure at Star Sports, I’m delighted to announce my transition to Vertical Head – LCS Sales at Disney+ Hotstar! I’m immensely thankful for the invaluable experiences and memories at Star Sports and eagerly anticipate this new chapter, filled with fresh learnings and adventures at Disney+ Hotstar.”

Maheshwari’s tenure at Star Sports spanned from May 2023 to July 2024. She initially joined Disney Star’s Ad Sales team for Star Jalsha and Jalsha Movies in April 2011 and held multiple roles within the organization.

Before that, she was Assistant Manager – Product at Altruist Technologies Ltd from June 2010 to April 2011 and completed a Sales and Marketing Management Trainee program at Star India Pvt Ltd. Her professional journey began as a Summer Intern at CNN IBN (Network 18) in April 2008.

With her extensive experience and dedication, Maheshwari is set to bring significant contributions to Disney+ Hotstar in her new role.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
